You see, the professional racers on the track are covered financially by all their sponsors. Why do you think they have all those logos on their car? The sponsors are the people who help the racer financially.
If YOU get into an accident or get pulled over by the police, no one is going to bail you out.
When you drive dangerously, you pay – in some form or another. Whether you are cited by the police or your insurance rates go up. Oh, yeah, it’s true! Unsafe driving, which constitutes speeding, causing accidents, etc. – these can all make your insurance rates soar. Kia is proving to be a big name in motorsports after their two motorsports championships in 2011. The world of motorsports just got hotter thanks to them. Kia just added two hot performance racecars: the 2012 Rio 5-door B-Spec racecar and the Optima Hybrid. The Optima hybrid will serve as the official pace car for the U.S. Touring Car Championship events. The nonracing versions of the Optima and Rio were recently named the best compact and best family sedan in 2012. Both vehicles are fuel efficient and priced below many comparable vehicles.This/tag helps explain it more. Kia also has another vehicle that is turning heads. The company just unveiled their new sporty looking car called the Track’ster. The car is inspired by the Kia Soul. It has a sloped roof that is meant to be it’s trademark. The car is designed to look tough as though it has an attitude. Not only does it have get up and go, but it’s practical. It has a 4 cylinder engine, but is turbocharged and is 250 horsepower making it 66 more powerful than the Soul. It also has containers for racing gear and helmets to be stored when the car is not on the track.
For the first time ever, a Korean car manufacturer competed in the streets of St. Petersburg for the Pirelli World Challenge on March 24. Kia has given the credit for being able to compete in the race to both its drivers and its new vehicles, turbocharged Kia Optimas. Finishing in P2 and P3 with both Colin Braun and Michael Galati, Kia is now poised to jump into the world stage of motorsports in a huge way, especially when compared to their past in the racing world.

Kia is chasing its first-ever manufactures championship this year with great promise, and not without the help of brothers Mark and Mathew Pombo at the wheel. The Pombo’s have already demonstrated their value at the season kickoff at Daytona. Kia Motorsports has asserted its dominance this season in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. This series of races held nationwide over the course of several months have been a fitting stage for Kia to show off its racing team prowess on a variety of tracks. The automaker responded with three consecutive top-five finishes to close out the first week of May. Those performances helped bolster Kia’s standing atop the Car Challenge’s leaderboard. Futhermore, Kia’s main driver Andy Lally has a chance to soon record his 100th top-three finish in a race.
